Description

The city of Wuhan (population 9 million) in the coming years wants to become the most sustainable city in China. In this context, an international competition for the construction of the Wuhan New Energy Center, a research center in the field of new energy and sustainability, with an international ambition has been started. The design of Grontmij and Soeters Van Eldonk architects has been awarded the assignment by the international jury. The Urban Planning and Design Institute Shanghai also participated in the pitch.
